Obligations turn me anxious,
I give birth to trepidations,
Life needs some meditation,
But is there any room for introspection???
Obligatory streets , noisy crowds,
Filaments of misjudgments,
Screams of blasphemy,
In the name of prosperity and polygamy.
Obsessions of self-pride,
Hallucinations of disguise,
Will you hold the lamp and walk in rain?
Will there be a boulevard beyond pain?
Obscurity of defeat, conceit, retreat,
Propensity of mislead beliefs,
Will you hold the cross and burn your heart?
Will there be peace and a warm regard?
“Oblivious” is the word I wish to carry,
Snapshots of deaths, Flashes of pain,
How long will my heat refrain?
Insanity will bribe me to be sane.
O’ I wish I could sneak inside my heart,
Auto possessions, hatred and disregard,
I wish to banish all this high and up hard,
I wish to make the world be a better place to live in…
Oh, hold on my mind, put your specs,
See the world is no more a hoax,
It’s you and me, me and you…
It’s this that the world is all about….
